Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, CVS Health, Retired

Jon Roberts retired from CVS Health in 2022 where he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. Additionally, he served as President of CVS Pharmacy on an interim basis in 2020 during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. Prior to assuming the COO role in March 2017, Jon served as President of CVS Caremark, the company’s pharmacy benefit management (PBM) business. Before his appointment as President of CVS Caremark in 2012, Jon also served as Executive Vice President of Pharmacy Purchasing, Pricing and Network Relations from 2009 to 2010, and Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer from 2006 until 2008. Prior to that, he held a variety of key leadership roles in the company’s retail business, CVS Pharmacy, including Senior Vice President of Store Operations from 2002 until 2005. Jon earned his degree in pharmacy from the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Pharmacy. He serves on the Board of Advisors for HealthQuest Capital, and previously served as Chairman of the Pharmaceutical Care Management Association (PCMA); Chairman of Red Oak Sourcing; as a member of the Board of Directors of the Rhode Island Airport Corporation (RIAC); and as a member of both the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee of the National Association of Chain Drug Stores (NACDS). Roberts earned his degree in pharmacy from the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Pharmacy.
