Director of Private Investments and Foundation Strategies at Heritage Wealth Advisors

Prior to joining Heritage Wealth Advisors, Mr. Henderson was the Director of Investments at Spider Management Company, LLC from January 14, 2013, until May 2022. He has more than 25 years in investment management experience. Formerly, he was the Director of Fixed Income and Portfolio Manager at the Virginia Retirement System, where he served for 14 years, responsible for all aspects of the fixed income program. Prior to joining VRS, he was a Portfolio Manager at Mentor Investment Group, LLC and an Investment Analyst at Ryland Mortgage Company, Inc. He has served on the boards of several nonprofits. Mr. Henderson received his MBA in Finance from George Washington University and a B.A. from the University of Richmond and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
